About the Department
The Department of Visual Communication was established in the year 2002. In a short span of time, the Department started postgraduate program in Electronic Media in the year 2003. The full-fledged undergraduate and postgraduate programs equip the students to excel in media field taking positions as directors, cinematographers, graphic designers, animators, television production executives, content developers and broadcast media presenters. On par with the industrial standards, the Department has set up state of art media production studio and exclusive Mac lab to expose the students to the realtime media environment and industry best practices. Students are encouraged to conduct and take part in film festivals, workshops and seminars. The faculty members of the Department also work towards inculcating social values, principles and critical thinking in the students.
