UGC has provided grants under BSR scheme for strengthening of infrastructure for upgradation of science laboratories. The UGC under the BSR scheme has launched several programs like Infrastructural developments for Science Departments Meritorious Students fellowship Dr.D.S. Kothari Post doctoral fellowship BSR-Faculty Fellowship Faculty Recharge Single Girl Child Fellowships On-Time Grant Start-up grant The College used this grant as specified in the scheme for the purpose of improving power supply, water supply, safety equipments, laboratory working table and upgrading of laboratory, thereby, creating conducive ambience in the science laboratories for undertaking research. The College made the best use of these grants to upgrade the science laboratories thus providing better facilities to the students. In this regard we thank UGC (BSR Grants) for providing Financial Assistance to our college. With new upgraded facilities in the college, the faculty is moving forward with modern teaching techniques (ICT) to impart the quality education among the students. In a nutshell, it may be stated that the BSR grant has been very useful in the upgradation of infrastructure of the departments and has very effectively improved the teaching-learning activities for academic upliftment of the students and the faculty.
